Why does it rain and snow so much over Wellesley, Massachusetts? Is it because our sun is being lazy again?

Perhaps "lazy" is too strong a word. After all, the sun has been rising in the morning and setting in the evening for many many years. Actually my friend, the sun is afflicted with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), which causes it to become more lethargic in the winter, at which time (as you may have noticed) it barely rises over the treetops.

Fortunately, in the summer, it feels much better and fully rises to the occasion.

And thank you for this opportunity to allow me to amuse myself.
